How We Verify Facts
Every factual claim in an Acquire Publishing publication is verified against primary sources, reviewed by domain experts, and open to reader correction.
Primary Sources
Every factual claim must be traceable to a primary source — original research, original data, documented practitioner experience, or reproducible reasoning. We do not rely on secondary reporting, conventional wisdom, or "what everyone knows." If a claim cannot be traced to a primary source, it is either removed or clearly labeled as the author's opinion.
Expert Review
Before publication, every manuscript addressing specialized topics is reviewed by at least one person with relevant domain expertise. Expert reviewers evaluate factual accuracy, logical consistency, and completeness. They are identified in the publication, and any changes they recommend are evaluated and applied by the editorial team.
Version Updates
When a factual error is confirmed, it is corrected within 72 hours. A visible correction note is appended to the publication indicating what was changed, when, and why. Minor corrections — typographical errors, formatting fixes — are made silently. Substantive corrections — factual errors, misleading statements, missing context — are always noted publicly.

Readers are an essential part of our fact-checking process. If you believe an Acquire Publishing publication contains a factual error, contact corrections@acquirepub.com. Every submission is investigated. The reader is notified of the outcome. If the error is confirmed, a correction is published with a visible update note.
